Our client is based near Luton and looking for a Data Architect on a 3 month contract basis, with a possibility of becoming permanent.
We are searching for a dynamic and determined Data Architect who is truly passionate about data. They are currently embarking on a large scale Data Transformation Programme. The Data Architect will be expected to design and deliver correct technical implementation of modern, cloud based data management and BI platform across the business.
*5+ years of experience working as a Data Architect
*Proven experience working in a cloud based environment - AWS preferred
*Exposure of the following: Talend, Spectrum, Redshift, Master Data Management, Data Visualisation, Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence
* Significant experience in SQL and ETL, python and Agile methodologies
*Previous experience engaging with C-Level
*Knowledge of frameworks - TOGAF, Zachman and PEAF
*Solid understanding of data processes - Governance, modelling, quality etc
*Excellent knowledge of a range of BI Tools (Qlik/PowerBI)
*Experience in different modelling methodology for example Kimball, Erwin, 3NF and Data Vault
*Experience of pulling data from different APIs and integrating to Data Warehouse frameworks
*Previous experience building data catalogues and any associate tooling including Talend/ Collibra/ IBM
*Vendor application experience (e.g. Talend, Snowflake, or other Data Management tools)
*MDM (Master Data management)
*QLIK / Power BI report writing
*Regulatory reporting would certainly be advantageous
*Retail and/or utilities experience would be advantageous
