The Role
We are working with one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK who are currently looking to recruit a Head of Automation. This is a brand new role and will be responsible for executing the automation roadmap whilst working closely with various head of departments in the business such as products and marketing. This is a great opportunity to own and drive the businesses automation story.
Key Responsibilities
As a Head of Automation you will be responsible for:
*Building out a team that consistently deliver automation of business functions
*Provide management reporting weekly
*Designing the strategy for the consistent design and delivery of automation solutions and capability
*Ensuring best practice when looking at automation practices
*Working with in-house platforms to ensure performance, security and scalability and resilience
*Working with 3rd party developers
The Requirements
To be considered for this Head of Automation role you will have the following skills and experience:
*Technical lead background with strong leadership skills
*Likely to have a background in project management or a formal software development methodology such as Agile
*Previously managed technical teams in a growing environment
*Strong communicator, ability to discuss technicalities to all levels of staff
*Ideally from a Telecommunications, carrier or managed service background
