Quality Assurance Team Lead - FinTech - Up to £60k

Role: Quality Assurance Team Lead
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary, plus benefits and bonus
Location: City of London

A growing FinTech based in the City of London are seeking a QA Team Lead to join their growing IT function. We are seeking personable candidates who have proven experience leading QA teams to the successful delivery of business critical projects.

Reporting into the QA Manager, you will be tasked with;
- Coordinating and managing automated and manual testing activities across project and product teams
- Line management of up to 10 QA Engineers at any given time, including performance reviews and personal development plans
- Liaise between the QA Department and PMO and Software Development teams, both onshore and offshore, to ensure successful and timely project delivery
- Work in partnership with the QA Manager to implement strategy for the QA Department and to ensure that best practices are adhered to
- Act as an Agile advocate in the team and across the wider business

Technical Skills Required:
- Proven experience delivering and managing test automation projects
- Experience using JavaScript, Java or iOS testing frameworks
- Experience of test planning, test estimation, prioritisation, risk-based testing and resourcing
- Own the production and delivery of test deliverables and test artefacts
- Production of project test reports and metrics
- Experience leading complex test projects spanning multiple teams and all application layers
- Assist the QA Manager in the identification of process improvements
- Experience working in an Agile environment

Personal Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to identify and communicate any project risks in advance, identifying solutions to mitigate them
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
