Senior Desktop Support Engineer - 2nd line
Our client a global media company based in Central London are looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join their helpdesk. The Helpdesk supports our client's European user base and a primarily Microsoft Windows environment; as well as supporting a small Apple Mac environment
Together, we're seeking an ambitious and proactive Senior Desktop Support Engineer who will provide excellent 2nd line support.
Rate: £210 (daily rate)
Length of contract: 3 months rolling contract
Based: Central London
The ideal Service Desk Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
*2+ years' experience as a Service Desk Engineer.
*Strong working knowledge of Windows 7 & 10 Enterprise, Mac OS X, Microsoft Outlook & Exchange and Active Directory.
*Previous experience of setting up new starters, movers and leavers.
*Efficient at providing 2nd line support.
*Technical experience with SAP, LANDesk V10 and OSX server.
*Intermediate networking skills.
*Ability to anticipate risks and issues.
*Familiar working in an IT environment.
*Excellent organisational skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
