Technical Analyst - Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence

An innovative, global organisation are looking to expand their Data and Analytics team based in London. Working in an Agile environment, the Technical Analyst will closely liaise with both business and technical teams, driving product development and building new technical solutions. This individual must have excellent skills in SQL and Oracle, as well as a strong analytical mindset. Salary is up to £60,000 basic salary plus benefits and bonus.

Role Responsibilities:
* Analyse and document requirements for bespoke solutions for internal and external clients
* Translate high level business requirements into technical requirements for the development team to implement
* Provide support through the implementation of the technical requirements
* Liaise with QA Engineers to ensure requirement compliance and test coverage during Test Plan reviews
* Support the User Acceptance Testing process when required
* Propose wireframe design for User Interfaces
* Effectively communicate and integrate with the rest of the Scrum team (Product Owner, Developer, QA, and Business Analysts)
* Provide updates on activities and issues
* Clear communication between all teams, both written and verbal
* Take ownership of all assigned tasks and project related assignments
* Ensure direct communication over email/ticketing chain to ensure timely resolution of identified issues

Experience/Skills Required:
* Educated to Degree level in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
* Proven experience in a similar role, focused on Data Warehousing/BI
* Experience capturing high-level business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for development teams
* Strong application and data warehousing skills, particularly in Oracle
* Experience with Business Intelligence solutions (Cognos or equivalent)
* Must be able to drive the requirements review/acceptance process, review test plans for coverage and support UAT activities
* Data Modeling
* Collaboration Suite (Rally, JIRA, HP QC, SharePoint or equivalent)
* Experience proposing end user UX to satisfy business requirements
* Experience of working within a Scrum environment
