Job Description

The JM Group is working with a Media client and is seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer on a permanent basis in London.

The 2nd Line Support Engineer will provide effective IT assistance across the business and work on a broad range of IT-related projects.

The ideal 2nd Line Support Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

*Previous experience within a 2nd line support capacity
*Experienced at supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange
*Windows Server 2008 R2/ 2012 R2, Windows 7/8
*MS Office suite
*Active Directory
*VMWare ESX 5 - 6
*Strong Networking knowledge including LAN/WAN technologies including fault finding
*HP Desktops and notebooks
*Cisco/HP Switch technology
*Meraki/Watchguard firewall and Secure remote access appliances
*Citrix and Netscaler Management and administration
*Email security products ideally Mimecast or Mcafee
*Office 365 and Azure
*Backup Exec skills
*Strong imaging WDS
*Knowledge of OS ticketing system
*Excellent communication skills
*Exceptional telephone manner
*Effective at assisting and covering first line support
