Job Description

My client is a market leading digital service provider based in the heart of the City of London. A fantastic opportunity as a 3rd line support engineer has become available and we are urgently looking to fill it with an experienced and skilful individual who is looking to further develop their exposure to network support scenarios and technologies.

The primary focus of the role is to manage faults or change requests from partners and provide outstanding 3rd line support to ensure SLA commitments are adhered to. There will be the opportunity for some larger scale project delivery in parallel to the BAU tasks.

Key accountabilities

*To monitor and repair network faults and provide higher level support for the 2nd desk
*Manage case queues for faults and change requests within the salesforce system
*Engage with partners when logging processing and updating cases
*Refer faults to carriers and suppliers


*Working knowledge of wide area networking technologies
*Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
*Takes pride in reaching best mutual solution
*Telecommunications background
*Experience of Juniper and /or Cisco environments
