The successful applicant will work in the Business Applications Department. They will be assigned to work on a given project and face into the Front, Middle and Back Office, the Business Projects team, or on occasion alternative business area (e.g. digital and front office, etc.) and work alongside developers (in-house & 3rd party) and SIT testers.
As a Business Analyst your primary role will be to aid the delivery of change into the growing business. You will achieve this by helping the business implement technology solutions.
As a Business Analyst you will be tasked with understanding and capturing business change requirements, analysing and documenting these using structured methodologies.
In addition, you will provide communication support to Technology Partners with the relevant business and delivery areas. Furthermore, you may be asked to provide extended testing capabilities during SIT, if business knowledge is required and UAT when end-user support is needed.
You will at all times provide a professional, efficient, timely and cost effective service to end-users and the company for which he/she has responsibility.
Provide effective and efficient services to users and clients, ensuring work is carried out to an acceptable standard to agreed deadlines.
Elicit business requirements including: facilitating workshops, gap analyses, as-is to to-be process and scenario building
Document preparation including: defining and scoping optimal solutions, producing structured SDLC BA documentation
Project Support including: stakeholder management, test case preparation, knowledge transfer between business, developers and support, provide solution verification during the SDLC cycle, post implementation support
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
*You will have 5 years proven track record in Wealth & Investment Management.
*You will understand how the Wealth & Investment Management Front, Middle & Back Office business works and be articulate in the latest Wealth Management trends and challenges.
*You will be familiar with numerous structured business analysis techniques, in particular:
*Solution investigation and documenting results
*Stakeholder identification, analysis and management
*Organisation modelling, business process analysis and business change identification
*Evaluating options, preparing and presenting business cases
*Defining requirements, analysis, requirements development and modelling
*Knowledge and experience of MIFID
