Global Consulting Firm based in London is hiring for a Data Lead / AVP for their Regulatory & Compliance Data Consulting Team. This is a permanent position paying between £75K - £85K.
*Developing and executing strategies for existing client portfolios to ensure growth and profitability
*Effectively and proactively managed client's expectations, built deep client partnerships, and developed excellent communication and executive presence to connect at all levels in the organization.
*Experience in managing & leading delivery of long term complex multimillion dollar projects, services or solutions
*Experience of managing & leading teams including recruitment, solutioning, project delivery
*Prior experience delivering Data quality, Data Management, Reporting & Visualisation / dashboards as well as proof of concepts (POCs) for clients and / or consultancy firm
*Expert/Intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying databases (SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle etc. is desirable)
*Strong solutioning capability across the data / regulatory (database-agnostic) spectrum
*Broad functional knowledge within the sector and the ability to connect with a variety of executive level stakeholders on their specific pain-points; build meaningful internal and external relationships
Essential skills and attributes include:
*10-12 years of advisory/consulting experience across governance, risk, compliance, operations and technology related transformation (re-engineering, process improvement, automation) engagements, of which at least 5-7 years experience is within the Banking Financial Services & Insurance domain
*Prior Big 4 / large consultancy firm background desirable
*Deep knowledge of global investment banking businesses, Insurance as well as complex front to back business / risk processes
*Extensive experience of managing project delivery for large engagements requiring:
oDeep understanding of data management principles - Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Standards); practical experience in data flow documentation and analysis, data cleansing, metadata management etc.
oAgile development methodology experience (desirable)
