Job Description

Global Consulting Firm based in the City is hiring for a GDPR Business Analyst for their Insurance area of the Business. This is a permanent role with a salary paying between £50K - £60K.

Responsibilities include:
*Document business processes in order to define current business activities, procedures and models
*Gather and organize information about the problem to be solved.
*Document target business processes to eliminate non value-added tasks and inefficiencies ("To-Be" process mapping)
*Identify and establish scope and parameters for process analysis in order to define impact, outcome criteria, and performance metrics and measurements
*Communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood
*Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project plan is executed to standard
*Support GDPR compliance projects for clients

You will ideally have solid experience in Business Analysis with the ability to engage with business and IT stakeholders, and articulate solutions at various levels. Specialist knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its implications for business in at least 2 of the areas below:
oPrivacy notice and consents
oProcessing inventory and data mapping
oRights of data subjects
oGovernance and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA)
oVendor management and contracts remediation

*Ability to work closely and collaboratively with various functions including Privacy and Data Protection Officer, Operations, CIO/CTO/CDO, Risk, Compliance and Legal
*Good understanding of Insurance processes (strongly preferred)
*Advanced MS Excel skills, basic VBA/SQL skills (preferred).

A Degree in Finance / Economics / Business Administration / Statistics would be preferred, as well as a Certified Business Analysis Professional and a Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (PC.dp.) / GDPR Practitioner / IAPP credentials (preferred)
