Application Support Analyst
£400 a day
6 month contract

The Role
We are working with a leading financial service company based in the City of London who are looking for an Application Support Analyst. You will be working in a team and will be responsible for providing 2nd/3rd level support to a variety of applications. This role would suit someone with previous application support experience at senior level. Any experience from a bank/financial services company is beneficial however not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Application Support Analyst you will be responsible for the following:
*Supporting applications (2nd/3rd line)
*Troubleshooting issues at an advanced level
*Dealing with 3rd party vendors
*On call support/shift work when required
*Assisting more junior people in the team

The Requirements
As an Application Support Analyst you will be confident with the following technologies:
*Windows Enterprise Operating Systems (2003 )
*Web application experience (IIS/Application server)
*Networking (TCP/IP, DNS) etc
*Previous experience supporting web applications

Good understanding of:
*Scripting (Powershell)
*ITIL foundation certification is also desirable.
