Our client, a financial services division within a market leading retail organisation are looking for two Network Engineers to deliver 3rd line support for the Security and Cloud functions within the their core infrastructure.
Within each role the responsibilities are as follows:
*In-depth troubleshooting analysis, isolation and resolution of events & incidents
*Provide problem management and perform Root Cause Analysis
*Create and maintain technical documentation and processes
*Write and carry out action/implementation plans for complex change or incident resolutions
*Manage upgrades, patching and general maintenance of the Security appliances and devices in line with strategy and security recommendations.
*Provide training to other member of the support team in your core skills
*Contribute to the 24x7 Network On-call rota
*Build automation capability to enable 1st & 2nd line support functions to proactively manage services
*Cisco CCNA (in relevant subject)
*Firewall Technologies (Cisco; Juniper; Fortinet; Checkpoint)
*Experience administering Nagios/MRTG/Cacti
*Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP and common routing protocols (OSPF; BGP etc.)
*Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
