NOC Support Engineer
Up to £38,000 Excellent Benefits

The Role

The JM Group are currently working with an established yet growing Telecommunications company who are looking for a NOC Support Engineer to join their NOC. Technology wise, the company work predominantly with Juniper so any experience with this is beneficial however candidates with good Cisco, a CCNA and a strong background in Telecommunications will be considered therefore please still apply.

As a NOC Support Engineer you will be involved in the following duties:

*Monitoring and troubleshooting network faults
*Acting as an escalation point for 1st line engineers
*Managing changes, faults or requests
*Dealing with carriers and suppliers for any faults
*Supporting partners with network services
*Flexibility to cover swing shifts, hours will be 8.30am-5pm for the 1st week then 11.30am-8pm for the 2nd week, this then rotates

The Requirements

As a NOC Support Engineer you will have:

*A background in Telecommunications in a similar role working with WAN technologies
*Troubleshooting skills with experience in OSPF, MPLS and BGP being desirable
*Certifications such as CCNA or JNCIA are preferred
*Good at building relationships and passionate about delivering excellent customer service
*Ideally you will hold certifications in either Cisco or Juniper such as CCNA or JNCIA and will be working towards JNCIS-SP or CCNP
