Product Marketing Manager, West Sussex, Up to a £60k base, Healthcare
My client makes a market leading software in the medical sector which is used in over 6,000 hospitals. This is a company who thrive on innovation and who are dedicated to fighting serious disease. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join their team
The suitable candidate will use technical, clinical and market expertise to develop value proposition, messaging and positioning. They will also develop go-to-market strategies and business plans for services
oDevelop value proposition, messaging and supporting proof points based on customer needs and market environment from a COF (Clinical - Operational - Financial) perspective
oDefine overall positioning and pricing tailored to different markets and customer segments
oIdentify and implement offerings to contribute to lifecycle business growth.
oDevelop customer retention programs and drive top and bottom line lifecycle business, including aftersales, replacement and service business
oParticipate and support cross-functional commercialization activities (pre-, during and post-commercial launch), working with and involving all relevant internal stakeholders (Marketing as well as other functions), with overall responsibility for the value proposition and messaging activities
oContent development for sales tools and campaigns
oAssist with ongoing competitive review and analysis; leverage learnings to modify and adapt messaging communications and positioning
oEffectively communicate the above internally and generate content for use in sales tools, training, site marketing etc
oProvide services and installed base expertise and support to global product marketing teams and regional teams
oProvide input form a market and marketing perspective to the Product Creation Process (R&D and Portfolio Management) and Services development process (incl Education & Training)
oCo-strategize marketing programs/campaigns with Regional Marketing
oWork closely with the other marketing partners, product innovation, regions, medical affairs and other key stakeholders to understand market needs, unsolved problems, and pain points, and assist with defining portfolio development priorities
oMaster's degree (Marketing, Business Administration, Biosciences), or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
oMinimum of 5 years experience in a marketing role at a global organization. Experience within the in healthcare industry or other B2B industry with complex technology preferred.
oBusiness savvy and excellent understanding of strategic marketing principles. Experience with Service function of healthcare industry or complex technology industry preferred.
oTrack record in working in complex, multi-functional, and multi-cultural international environments.
oCustomer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
oResults-driven, self-starting entrepreneurial mindset and capable of identifying solutions and direction. Not shying away from doing groundwork when needed
oHighly effective communication skills (written and verbal) and strong networker, proven ability to create professional relationship also with members of the medical/clinical/technical community.
oVery strong interpersonal/collaborative skills
oWilling to travel up to 25% of time
oFluent in English, written and verbal
