My client is a leading financial services organisation and are passionate about perpetuating an honest, generous and personalised service to their customers and within the work environment. There is a vacancy for a SharePoint Administrator within the Digital and Technology department.

The overall objectives of the job are to maintain the smooth functioning of the SharePoint environment and provide support to business users.

The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for ensuring the system remains running, up to date and performing efficiently. They will manage all day to day operation of the platform, support business users and resolve issues. They are responsible for managing services and scheduled jobs within the SharePoint environment, creating new sites & lists and administering permissions. Monitoring and maintaining the environment is key, they will analyse SharePoint usage and content, monitor capacity and performance.

Working alongside the existing Platform Engineer and Developers the successful applicant will accept new platform changes and applications transitioning support into their daily role. They will work closely with the SharePoint Platform manager who oversees the SharePoint Platform.

Good communication skills are key, this individual is going to be on the front line talking to the business working on their issues, they need to be confident that they can communicate clearly with business particularly when they are frustrated with a system.

Background and experience necessary:
*Experience with operation, administration and support of SharePoint services and related systems.
*Detailed understanding of SharePoint environments and their applications.
*Experience with SP2013 and SharePoint Online.
*Knowledge of SP2016.
*Understanding of workflow, Document Generation and form capture technologies.
*Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS).
*Experience with SQL to undertake any required administration.

*Strong communication skills and a personable manner are essential, as is the ability working with staff at all levels.
*An analytical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
*A strong attention to detail.
