Training Content Developer - Leading Engineering Body - Watford

We are working with a key player in the building in the construction industry who are working closely with the government to progress standards within the industry from a technology perspective.
This project will be underpinned by a large focus on certification, and for that reason they are looking for a talented and motived Training Content Developer to enable delivery of training across a diverse range of engineering/technology disciplines. This will be achieved by understanding the crucial areas of the business, and then create content to be delivered by trainers as part of their Academy scheme.

Key tasks/responsibilities:
*Work alongside technical leads in the project and the Academy and with key industry stakeholders to capture requirements for training programme that follows the ADDIE model
*Identify milestones and outputs in the R&D programme to capture training programme content and insight
*Identify the objectives, KPI and CSF of the training programme
*Identify core skills, capabilities and learning objectives
*Identify learner, train sponsor and trainer profiles
*Develop proposals for multi modal training delivery methods
*Design and develop training solutions using authoring tools and new learning technologies
*Analyse, select and integrate appropriate learning technologies
*Collaborate with subject matters experts, curriculum and account managers internally as well as with customers and vendors
*Collect and evaluate feedback from trainers on the total quality of the course. Incorporate feedback and further develop existing and new curricula
*Adapt curricula to changed requirements
*Feed into larger projects on best methods to use when training and educating teams

Background/experience required:
The ideal person will have experience as a technical author, coupled with strong customer engagement, knowledge of lean processes within a manufacturing/ construction background (automotive, aerospace, robotics). They will need to be able to understand/ interpret technical data and analysis to summarise and develop content ready for delivery to construction industry in a simpler context
