The UI designer is responsible for creating the user interface (or user experience/UX) for a software or project. As such, they are responsible for understanding user needs, for creating graphic elements, and for building navigation components. They will prepare these resources for the developers, with sketches, prototypes, and mock-ups to clearly how the end product will work and will communicate with other project members to amend those resources if necessary.
