Network Support Engineer

The Role
We are currently working with a leading Telecommunications company in Manchester who are looking for a Network Support Engineer. This role has been created due to growth and will act as the first point of contact for customers dealing with technical faults.

This Network Support Engineer would suit someone that's come from a similar helpdesk/technical support desk role ideally from an MSP/Telecommunications company although not essential. The company work with Cisco and Juniper.

Key responsibilities include:
*Managing faults and incidents
*Implementing customer change requests
*Taking ownership of tickets
*Adhering to SLA's
*Ensuring documentation is kept up to date

The Requirements
As a Network Support Engineer you will have the following experience:
*Previous experience in a helpdesk/support desk role in networking
*Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting experience
*Previous exposure to Voice/VoIP
*Certifications such as CCENT, CompTIA, CCNA (or studying towards)

Any experience of the following is desirable:

*Cisco, Fortinet or Mikrotik equipment
*ISP/Telecommunications background
