Information you give us

We receive and store any information you enter on the Websites or give us in any other way. You provide this information when you search, provide us with your CV or employment details, join The JM Group Community or Job Push, or communicate with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. As a result of those actions you might supply us with information such as your name, address, post code, date of birth, gender, information on how you use our services (such as type, date, time, and information on your browsing activity when visiting any of the Websites) and any other information with respect of your use of any of the Websites or our services. We might also ask for other specific information from time to time.

We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customising future use of the Websites for you, improving the Websites and communicating with you. We will also use the information to help find you a position by matching your details with the job vacancies, provide consultancy and training services, keep you informed of news and wider development in your chosen field, make you aware of services The JM Group and associated companies can offer you and compile anonymous salary and other surveys of our candidates for The JM Group use.

CVs - You can submit your CV when applying for particular vacancies, when joining The JM Group Community or speculatively via the links provided on our website. An email with a copy of your CV will be forwarded on to a consultant via a third party application tracking system when you register or apply for a position on our JM Group website or if applying through an advert on one of the job boards we use. After submitting your CV to us it will be processed by a 3rd party organisation who in turn will send you an email asking you to confirm that we can use your CV and that you agree to the terms and conditions we have laid out. Failure to agree to the terms may result in you not being put forward for the relevant role or future roles. This 3rd party organisation will also create an iProfile for you containing the data from your CV and we recommend you return via the links in the email and ensure your details and skills are correct and up to date. A record will be created or updated on our internal database and the original copy of your CV will be attached to this record. These CV’s will remain on our database indefinitely until you request your details to be removed and will therefore be accessed and used at a later date by our consultants. We will not post your original CV onto the Internet. We will notify you before submitting your CV to any client.

The JM Group Candidate Community & Jobs by email - To use our JM Group Candidate Community and Job's By Email (JBE) services, you will be required to supply your e-mail address. This information is used for the purpose of keeping you informed by e-mail of the latest jobs and news relevant to you. Your personal details, including your CV may be sent to consultants working in other JM Group offices or prospective employers both within and outside the European Economic Area. The data protection laws in countries outside the EEA may not be as extensive as in the European Economic Area but the JM Group will at all times adhere to the data protection principles outlined in the Data Protection Act 1998.
Additionally you acknowledge that the JM Group might sell or buy assets or the whole or any part of its business undertaking or that someone else may take over the running of any of the Websites. The legal status of the JM Group or its ownership could also change. In this type of transaction, customer information generally is one of the assets transferred. 4. Download times
